Sitting back in the hands of Dr. Pichet may become a difficult dental work experience as many patients, mostly the fairer sex, may find it simply resistible to fall for his charm and most delicate touch. A de facto most eligible bachelor of the Bangkok-Phuket Dental Center, Dr. Pichet comes up as a popular Restorative Dentist with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS.), 2nd class honors from the Faculty of Dentistry, Prince of Songkla University in Southern Thailand (2007). Next, he pursued advanced studies and garnered a Master of Science degree in Oral Health Sciences, Restorative Dentistry from the same university in 2014. Right there, he completed a thesis on the effect of different surface treatments on shear bond strength of zirconia ceramic and resin composite. His major work experience took place in the deep south of Thailand, i.e. Khuan Kalong Hospital, Satun province (2007-2013), Bangkok Hatyai Hospital, Songkla province (2012-2013). Then, he has joined the Bangkok-Phuket Dental Center since 2014, where he principally performs restorative and prosthodontic work: veneer, dental crowns and bridges, dental implants, teeth whitening, porcelain inlays and onlays, tooth-colored fillings. Despite just a few years at Bangkok Hospital Phuket, he has won many hearts of local and international patients. He is currently a member of the Thai Prosthodontic Association and Endodontic Society of Thailand.

I flew from Sydney to Bangkok specifically for Dr. Detboriboon's All-on-6 treatment. The entire experience exceeded my expectations. The clinic was state-of-the-art, the staff were incredibly caring, and Dr. Detboriboon explained every step clearly. I now have a full set of fixed teeth that look and feel completely natural — all for less than a third of what I was quoted in Australia. Best decision I ever made.
I was terrified of dentists after a bad experience in the UK. Dr. Detboriboon was so gentle and patient — he spent nearly an hour just talking through my concerns before we even discussed treatment. The implant surgery was painless and the zirconia bridge looks beautiful. Saved about £12,000 compared to UK prices. I've already recommended him to three friends.
After years of hiding my smile due to badly failing teeth, Dr. Detboriboon gave me my confidence back. The full mouth restoration was completed in two trips over three months. He used 3D planning to show me exactly what the final result would look like before we even started. The outcome is incredible — people tell me I look 15 years younger. Worth every penny and the trip from Los Angeles.
For single implants, you typically need two visits: the first for implant placement (3–5 days in Bangkok), and a second visit 3–6 months later for the final crown placement (2–3 days). For All-on-4/All-on-6 immediate-load procedures, most patients complete treatment in a single trip of 5–7 days, with the final permanent prosthesis delivered on the same trip. Dr. Detboriboon will provide a detailed timeline during your initial consultation.
Absolutely. Dr. Detboriboon operates in a JCI-accredited facility that meets the same international sterilization and infection control standards as top hospitals in the US, UK, and Australia. All instruments are autoclaved and single-use items are disposed of after each patient. The clinic uses hospital-grade HEPA air filtration. Dr. Detboriboon is a diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and uses only FDA-approved implant systems (Nobel Biocare, Straumann).
Most international patients save 60–75% on major dental work compared to US, UK, or Australian prices — even after factoring in flights and accommodation. For example, a full All-on-4 arch that costs $25,000–$35,000 in the US is typically $8,000–$12,000 in Thailand with Dr. Detboriboon, using the same implant systems. A single premium implant and crown that costs $4,000–$6,000 in Australia is approximately $1,500–$2,200 in Thailand. We provide transparent, all-inclusive quotes with no hidden fees.
Yes. All implant treatments come with a 10-year warranty on the implant fixture from the manufacturer (Nobel Biocare or Straumann). Crowns and bridges carry a 5-year warranty. Dr. Detboriboon also provides a personal guarantee — if any issue arises related to his workmanship within the warranty period, he will address it at no additional cost for the procedure itself. Many of our international patients combine a warranty check with their next holiday in Thailand.
Dr. Detboriboon provides a comprehensive aftercare package including: a detailed treatment report for your home dentist, digital X-rays and CBCT scans, post-operative care instructions, and direct follow-up via video consultation at 1, 3, and 6 months after treatment. He also maintains relationships with partner dentists in several countries for in-person follow-up if needed. You will never be left without support.
